Amanda Rodriguez is an actress, singer, and teaching artist based in Wisconsin.  Her love affair with performing began when she was a little girl cast in her first show, "Annie".  She couldn't get enough after that formative experience and has been pounding the pavement ever since!

Passionate about new musicals and play development, she has been featured in many new works.  Broadway World nominated for her work as Mari Cruz in Nashville Children's Theatre's world premiere production of Return to Sender based on the award winning novel by Julia Alvarez. 

Some of her favorite credits include Emily Webb in Our Town at The Armory, Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Skylight Music Theatre, and Topo in The Mole Hill Stories at Children's Theater of Madison.

When she's not on stage, she is a teaching artist and performer for Whoopensocker, an education residency based in Madison, WI that utilizes creative arts for elementary school students.

​​She enjoys playing the ukulele, making cats chase string, and savoring a good taco buffet.  In her spare time, you can find her cuddled up on the couch with her sweet cat, Hazel.
