Hi! I'm Amanda! I was born and raised in Wisconsin and I love to perform.
My love affair with performing began when I was a little girl. I remember pulling out the craziest characters to entertain my friends on the playground and my family at home; I loved making them laugh! I liked to draw inspiration from the things I would see in movies and television. Pocahontas had me singing "Colors of the Wind" in front of our fan so my hair would blow just so, Celine Dion had me belting "My Heart Will Go On" in the bathtub on loop, and Spice World had me running around yelling, "Girl Power!" in a British accent that I thought was completely spot on at the time. (Sorry, Mom!) When I was ten years old, I tried out for my first musical and nabbed the lead role in "Annie". The theatre bug bit me hard and I haven't looked back since.
Some of my favorite credits include Emily Webb (Our Town), Olive Ostrovsky (Spelling Bee), Pinkalicious (Pinkalicious: The Musical), and Natalie (Next to Normal).
When I'm not on stage, I am a teaching artist and performer for Whoopensocker, an education residency based in Madison, Wi that utilizes creative arts for elementary school students. I love horror movies, tacos, and my cat, Hazel Rose.
